Social Media Lead - Chemist Warehouse

Role Overview
 
The Social Media Lead is responsible for the end-to-end execution of Chemist Warehouse UAE’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms. This is a commercially driven role responsible for content creation, influencer management, campaign execution and ensuring alignment with in-store, e-commerce and paid media initiatives. 
 
General Responsibilities
  • Content creation & editing
  • Create engaging retail-driven content aligned with catalogue themes and seasonal campaigns.
  • Film and edit Reels, TikTok’s, Stories and short-form videos. 
  • Develop educational, promotional and editorial content formats.
  • Ensure alignment with Chemist Warehouse brand guidelines. 
  • Coordinate product and lifestyle shoots where required.
  • Manage the social media content calendar in alignment with marketing schedule.  
Influencer & Content Creator Management
  • Identify and onboard influencers aligned with wellness, beauty and health categories.
  • Create structured influencer briefs including deliverables and timelines. 
  • Negotiate rate cards and ensure ROI-driven agreements. 
  • Manage contracts, usage rights and compliance requirements. 
  • Track influencer performance and ensure completion of deliverables.
  • Coordinate PR gifting and influencer seeding campaigns. 
Campaign & Consumer Promotion Execution
  • Support omni-channel campaign execution across social, e-commerce and in-store.
  • Manage social media competitions including mechanics and winner selection.
  • Support brand-funded social packages and partnership deliverables.
  • Assist with event coverage including store openings and activations.
  • Work with paid media to amplify high-performing content. 
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Monitor KPIs including engagement, reach and conversion signals.
  • Provide weekly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Track influencer ROI and campaign performance.
  • Identify trends and optimise content strategy accordingly.
Teamwork and Relationships
  • Work closely with other members or marketing team to complete socials deliverables within time frame
  • Work with and encourage working relationships with staff at store level
  • Work with and encourage working relationships with Talent & Content creators 
  • Promote and demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude
Qualifications and Experience
  • 2–4 years’ experience in social media or digital marketing. 
  • Retail, beauty or FMCG experience preferred. 
  • Experience working with influencers and negotiating rates.
  • Experience managing competitions and consumer promotions. 
  • Understanding of UAE influencer compliance preferred. 
  • Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva or similar). 
  • Strong copywriting skills suited to retail and community engagement. 
  • Understanding of Meta Business Suite and TikTok analytics. 
  • Ability to create structured briefs and manage production timelines. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
