Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Senior GDS Travel Agent with experience in the travel domain. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our travel platform and systems operate with accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Your role will involve hands-on testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and validating that travel-related products and features meet both technical and business standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of travel-related software features (e.g., booking engine, fare rules, itinerary systems).
  • Identify, document, and track bugs; work closely with developers and product teams to resolve them.
  • Validate accuracy of travel rules, fare logic, and pricing workflows across B2C and B2B use cases.
  • Ensure GDS integration (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo) works seamlessly across all flows.
  • Execute test cases manually and/or through automated scripts where applicable.
  • Maintain and improve QA documentation, test plans, and release checklists.
  • Stay informed on airline policies, travel tech trends, and changes in global distribution systems that may impact product logic.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience as a travel agent in the travel tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • QA certifications such as ISTQB.
  • Knowledge of API testing or automation tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium).
