JOB PURPOSE:
The Showroom Manager will have full P&L, supply chain, inventory management & manning management responsibility and will report into the Head of Home Retail. A dynamic, outgoing individual, with sound & solid Home / Retail background, astute commercial skills & an undeterred people focus, will be the ideal candidate for the role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain clear lines of communication with the Head of Home Retail on Sales, Performance, and Customer Service.
- Focus on increasing sales and customer service levels.
- Effectively manage customer relationships within store to build sales volume and increase overall Customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for the operational policies & procedures to ensure fiscal control/ security of company assets/ inventory management and Store Safety.
- Consistently review Store Sales results and KPI measures. Effectively plan and execute strategies to increase results and productivity.
- Ensure all Brand and Company information is shared with employees in a timely manner and actioned accordingly.
- Develop and communicate a strong knowledge about Ethan Allen history, craftsmanship and products.
- Stay updated by attending to Company organized trainings.
- Ensure full compliance of company policies as it relates to order processing, cash/ asset handling, store and stock loss.
- Ensure store environment is clean and organized at all times.
- Lead VM/SM with maintaining Visual Merchandising Standards to ensure a “grand opening” look and feel to clients. Support with new seasonal launch execution.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate in a related discipline
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in Home / Retail
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Luxury Retail, Furniture, Lifestyle
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
- An excellent communicator & negotiator
- Excellent in customer service and handling customer complaints.
- Sharp business acumen and passion for the food retail
- A coaching & mentoring style of management
