Job Summary:

Responsible for maintain and upkeep the back store standards. Always deliver well organize back store arrangement. This role majorly covers working inside the back store and support the selling floor. Responsible for maintain the standards of back store, receiving, dispatching and replenish stocks. Responsible for pricing on individual items receive from warehouse. Repacking the products/merchandising, maintaining the cleanliness of the shop including back store. Responsible for providing the highest standard of customer service, provides excellent customer service satisfaction. Renders the best service to the customers as per standard.

Job Responsibilities:

Be involved in stock control and management.
Stocking shelves with merchandise on the shop floor.
Stocking shelves with merchandise in back store.
Ensure to maintain proper stock records for the items used for repacking and hampers.
Maintain consistent standards of repacking products, gift hampers, lollypop packing, etc...
Ensure to minimize materials wastage during repacking and making hampers.
Ensure to have proper inventory count of the supporting materials.
Always share your suggestion and feedback for the improvement of packaging.
Ensure to meet the daily repacking, hampers, lollipop packing target to support the business every day.
Responsible for maintain neat and tidy working place and should follow store safety.
Reporting inventory discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
Keeping the working floor/Back store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
Attaching price tags to each and every merchandise on the shop floor and back store.
Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters.
Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.
Follow FIFO ( First in first out).
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Having a friendly and engaging personality.
Comfortable working with members of the public.
Should have a confident manner.
Must be helpful and polite.
Shop Assistant should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales and inventory level.
Able to work as part of a sales team.
Able to work any department within the store
Knowledge of inventory techniques.
Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
Ensure to meet the grooming standards, use hairnet, gloves during repacking.
Assisting customers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Answering queries from customers when on selling floor.
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers when working on selling floor.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years' experience in the same role.
Fluency in English.
