Cashier - SSE - AMS Group

Role Overview

As a Cashier, you will play a critical role in managing customer transactions and ensuring excellent service for our Specialized Sports Equipment team in Dubai. Working in a dynamic ONSITE environment, you will be entrusted with processing a variety of payments for motorbikes, parts, and services. Your attention to detail and customer-oriented approach will directly enhance our reputation for professionalism and friendliness.
 
Responsibilities
  • Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions for sales and services related to motorbikes and parts.
  • Warmly greet customers, assist with their inquiries, and ensure a welcoming and efficient point-of-sale experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all cash register activities, including daily sales reports and receipt management.
  • Process returns and exchanges in line with company policies, ensuring approvals are in place and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Safeguard and reconcile all payment methods and cash at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Ensure the cashier area remains tidy, organized, and inviting for all customers and staff.
Must have requirements
  • Graduate or equivalent education; additional coursework in business or finance is a plus.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a cashier or in a customer service capacity, ideally within retail or the automotive sector.
  • Proven attention to detail in transaction processing and record keeping.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to positive customer service experiences.
  • Effective verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Competency in basic mathematics for accurate cash handling and payment reconciliation.
  • Experience with POS systems and established cash handling procedures.
  • Relevant certifications in cash handling or customer service are advantageous.
