Category Executive – Condiments and Vegetables - Bidfood Middle East

Bidfood ME is one of the leading foodservice companies in the UAE and Middle East and is looking for a Category Executive – Condiments and Vegetables .The ideal candidate supports the Category Specialist/Manager in the end-to-end lifecycle management of the assigned product portfolio. This role plays a critical part in driving category growth through daily operational support, market intelligence, coordination of stock and supply, pricing, and support in forecasting. The position requires a proactive and analytical mindset, with a strong customer and market orientation.
 
Core Task & Responsibilities:
•Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity, price benchmarking, and gather customer feedback.
•Share actionable insights with the Category team to refine strategies and product positioning.
•Monitor stock levels, expiries, and shipment timelines.
•Coordinate with Supply Chain and Sales to manage stock reallocation and mitigate risks related to overstocks, shelf-life, and slow movers.
•Generate and maintain category performance dashboards and reports.
•Support in project execution, pricing accuracy, and operational efficiency.
•Consolidate input from Sales teams to support demand forecasting processes.
•Analyze historical sales data and trends to assist in sales planning and stock alignment.
•Assist in organizing and conducting product demos.
•Provide product training and technical support to Sales where needed
 
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational & Professional Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
2.1–3 years of experience in category management ,supply chain coordination ,or sales support preferred (FMCG or Foodservice experience is a plus).
3.Hands-on experience working with Condiments & Vegetables

Technical & Industry Knowledge
1.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic dashboards).
2.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and demand planning tools.
3.Strong presentation and reporting skills.
4.Familiarity with sales and inventory analytics.
