Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of bakery products, including breads, pastries, and desserts to high standards.
- Design new recipes in line with modern and traditional tastes.
- Manage inventory and sourcing for bakery ingredients.
- Supervise and train bakery team members to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Maintain best-in-class hygiene and cleanliness in all bakery operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant teams for service excellence.
Must have requirements
- Proven experience as a professional bakery chef or pastry chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bread, pastry, and dessert production techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene regulations.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative flair.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
