F&B Supervisor - Chedi Hospitality

Role Overview
As an F&B Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring a high standard of service and operational excellence as part of our team in The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. You'll work in an ONSITE environment, assisting the outlet manager in all facets of outlet management, coordination, and guest satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities
  • Assist the outlet manager in supervising day-to-day functions of the outlet.
  • Support in analyzing and controlling production quality, guest satisfaction, merchandising, operating costs, sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and direct the prompt, efficient, and courteous serving of food and beverages.
  • Lead and participate in employee orientation, on-the-job training, performance appraisal, coaching, and counseling.
  • Monitor inventory and control stocks for daily use to meet service requirements.
  • Manage reservations and private parties as assigned by the outlet manager.
  • Participate actively in service as required and maintain outlet standards.
  • Ensure all staff are groomed and dressed according to company standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong employee relations within the team.
Must have requirements
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations.
  • Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and restaurant operations standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality.
  • Competency in staff training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Ability to handle reservations and coordinate events or private parties.
  • Attention to detail with inventory and stock management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities in English.
Nice to have requirements
  • Experience working in a luxury or five-star hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software or POS systems.
  • Knowledge of local and international culinary trends.
  • Ability to speak additional languages.
  • Certification in food safety or hospitality management.
