Business Development Manager - Chedi Hospitality

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Support the Chief Development Officer in executing the company’s business development and growth strategy across hotel management and branded residence opportunities. 
  • Identify and research new business opportunities across luxury hospitality, resort developments, and branded residential projects. 
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with hotel owners, developers, family offices, and real estate investors. 
  • Support the preparation of pitch materials, presentations, proposals, and feasibility studies under the guidance of senior leadership. 
  • Participate in early-stage discussions with potential partners and help progress opportunities through the development pipeline. 
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (development, design, operations, technical services) to ensure alignment on opportunity assessment and brand requirements. 
  • Assist in tracking deal progress, maintaining pipeline updates, and preparing regular reporting for the Chief Development Officer. 
  • Attend selected industry events, meetings, and conferences to support lead generation and relationship building efforts. 
  • Conduct market research and competitor tracking within the luxury hospitality and branded residences space to support strategic decision-making.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Understanding of hospitality development, hotel management agreements, and branded residences. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills with developers, investors, and hospitality stakeholders. 
  • Good commercial awareness with ability to support opportunity evaluation and deal progression. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting pitches and proposals. 
  • Highly organized with ability to manage pipelines, reporting, and tracking. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams including development, design, and operations. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment. 
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
