Role Overview
As a Barista at The Chedi Hegra, you'll play a key part in creating an exceptional guest experience by crafting high-quality coffee beverages and engaging with customers in our vibrant onsite environment. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service by taking orders, answering menu questions, and providing recommendations.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory, restock supplies, and communicate stock needs to management promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming atmosphere.
Must have requirements
  • Proven experience as a Barista in a hotel, café, or specialty coffee environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment operation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have requirements
  • Barista certification or completed coffee training courses.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards.
  • Experience with latte art and specialty coffee preparation.
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
