Role Overview
As a Barista at The Chedi Hegra, you'll play a key part in creating an exceptional guest experience by crafting high-quality coffee beverages and engaging with customers in our vibrant onsite environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Deliver outstanding guest service by taking orders, answering menu questions, and providing recommendations.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and communicate stock needs to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming atmosphere.
Must have requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista in a hotel, café, or specialty coffee environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment operation.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have requirements
- Barista certification or completed coffee training courses.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards.
- Experience with latte art and specialty coffee preparation.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
