Chef de Partie - Chedi Hospitality

Role Overview
As a Chef de Partie with us, you will play a crucial part in crafting memorable dining experiences. As part of our team in The Chedi Hegra, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards while contributing to the kitchen's smooth operation.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operational tasks and menu development.
  • Monitor and maintain consistency of dishes at all times, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to according to company and legal requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering, and minimize wastage.
Must have requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within upscale restaurants or luxury hotels.
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations standards.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite as an integral team member in The Chedi Hegra.
Nice to have requirements
  • Experience in Middle Eastern or international fine dining cuisine.
  • Exposure to opening or relaunching new kitchen operations.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Previous experience working in renowned culinary destinations.
