The Sales & Marketing Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Sales & Marketing Department at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, ensuring the smooth execution of sales activities, brand positioning, and guest engagement initiatives. The role supports the full sales cycle through professional coordination, accurate documentation, client communication, and effective follow-up, while upholding the hotel’s heritage-driven luxury standards and service excellence. The position plays a key role in promoting brand awareness internally and externally, supporting revenue generating initiatives, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients and guests via phone and email.
Administrative:
- Perform general office and administrative duties to support the Sales & Marketing Department, including filing, correspondence, data entry, copying, and document control.
- Prepare and maintain sales-related documentation throughout the sales process, including proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), agreements, and promotional materials.
- Gather, organize, and assemble sales kits, brochures, presentations, and client information packages.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify sales data such as leads, commissions, accounts, and third-party information in relevant systems. Sales Support & Revenue Generation:
- Support sales initiatives by applying effective sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining and strengthening guest loyalty.
- Communicate with prospective clients, guests, and partners via telephone and email to respond to inquiries, promote offers, and support sales follow-ups.
- Assist with preview packages, site inspections, and sales appointments where applicable, including explaining terms, requirements, and eligibility.
- Coordinate approved complimentary offerings for guests or clients as part of relationship building and guest appreciation initiatives.
Guest & Client Engagement:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and guests, ensuring prompt, professional, and accurate responses to all inquiries and requests.
- Answer questions related to hotel facilities and services, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, dining venues, operating hours, and special events.
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, clearly, and confidentially.
- Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette and professional language aligned with luxury service standards.
Brand Representation & Service Excellence
- Promote awareness of The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah brand image internally and externally, ensuring consistency with brand values and heritage positioning.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to hotel service standards, anticipate needs, and deliver personalized service experiences.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and contribute to memorable guest journeys.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role within hospitality, sales, marketing, or administrative support
