Receiving Clerk/Storekeeper - Chedi Hospitality

Role Overview
As a Receiving Clerk/Storekeeper, you will play a key role in supporting our daily operations at The Chedi Hegra. As part of our team in The Chedi Hegra, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, helping maintain the accuracy and safety of our inventory and supplies. Your attention to detail and organizational skills help ensure smooth receiving, storing, and distribution of goods throughout the property.
 
Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for correctness and quality.
  • Document the receipt of goods and accurately update inventory management systems.
  • Safely store and organize items in accordance with company guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team regarding discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized storeroom at all times.
  • Assist in conducting regular stock counts and support periodic inventory audits.
  • Prepare goods and materials for issuance or delivery to the relevant departments.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and company policies during storage and handling.
Must have requirements
  • Prior experience as a receiving clerk, storekeeper, or similar warehouse/store role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift, move, and store items of varying weights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as required.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Nice to have requirements
  • Experience working in a hospitality environment or luxury hotel.
  • Certification in inventory or warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with health and food safety standards relevant to storage operations.
  • Knowledge of ERP or advanced inventory software systems.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain or procurement processes.
