Engineering Coordinator - Chedi Hospitality

Role Overview
As the Engineering Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient functioning of the engineering team at The Chedi Muscat. As part of our team in The Chedi Muscat, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, coordinating administrative and organizational activities, ensuring seamless communication, and contributing to the smooth operation of maintenance and engineering processes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily administrative and operational activities within the engineering department.
  • Maintain and update maintenance management systems, ensuring all requests and tasks are logged and tracked efficiently.
  • Assist in organizing and scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare and manage departmental reports, memos, and records.
  • Communicate with various departments and external service providers as necessary to facilitate engineering tasks.
  • Support inventory management of engineering supplies and equipment.
  • Compile and analyze maintenance data for reporting purposes.
  • Assist with purchasing requests and invoice processing relevant to the department.
Must have requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of administrative or coordinator experience, preferably within hotels, facilities management, or engineering departments.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to prepare reports and analyze maintenance data.
