Commis Chef - Chedi Hospitality

Role Overview
Join our culinary team as a commis chef, where you will play a key role in preparing, seasoning, and presenting dishes to create memorable dining experiences. As part of our team in The Chedi Hegra, you'll work in an ONSITE environment that encourages growth, creativity, and a dedication to excellence in hospitality.
 
Responsibilities
  • Assist senior chefs in preparing high-quality dishes according to standard recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Help with ingredient preparation, portioning, and garnishing dishes as needed.
  • Support inventory control by monitoring supplies and minimizing wastage.
  • Participate in team briefings and training as required.
Must have requirements
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment or relevant culinary qualification.
  • Strong passion for food, learning, and hospitality.
  • Understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Knowledge of international cuisines or specialized culinary techniques.
