Operational Internship – Chedi Hospitality
Department: Operations (Front Office / F&B / Housekeeping / Guest Relations)
Location: Various Chedi Properties
Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance and business needs)
Reporting to: Department Head / Training Manager
Overview
The Operational Internship offers hospitality students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury hotel operations. Interns will be exposed to daily departmental functions and brand standards, contributing to guest satisfaction while learning The Chedi Way of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Support daily operations within assigned department (Front Office, F&B, or Housekeeping).

Assist in guest check-in/out processes and handle guest inquiries professionally.

Participate in service delivery across outlets and events, ensuring consistency with brand standards.

Coordinate with internal departments to maintain seamless operations and guest experiences.

Observe and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) and brand guidelines.

Contribute to departmental briefings, training sessions, and on-the-job learning activities.

Uphold the company’s values of discretion, grace, and service excellence.
Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Tourism Management program.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Previous internship or exposure to luxury hospitality is a plus but not required.
