Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM)
Location: The Chedi Wadi Safar – Diriyah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Position Summary
The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the commercial strategy for The Chedi Wadi Safar, driving revenue growth, brand positioning, and market presence in line with Chedi Hospitality’s luxury standards. The role will be responsible for developing and executing the sales, marketing, and distribution strategy, ensuring strong positioning in both regional and international luxury travel markets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue across all segments including rooms, F&B, events, and experiences.
  • Lead the Sales & Marketing team, ensuring clear targets, performance management, and alignment with the hotel’s commercial objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with key travel partners, luxury travel advisors, tour operators, and corporate clients.
  • Position the hotel effectively within the luxury leisure and high-end travel market, working closely with the corporate commercial and brand teams.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives, digital presence, PR activities, and brand partnerships to ensure strong visibility in target markets.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to ensure pricing strategy, distribution channels, and demand generation are aligned with revenue objectives.
  • Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI on all commercial activities.
  • Support pre-opening activities, including market positioning, brand awareness campaigns, and opening strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership role within luxury hospitality.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and building strong commercial strategies for luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Strong understanding of international luxury travel markets and distribution channels.
  • Experience in pre-opening luxury properties is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
