Demi Chef de Partie - Chedi Hospitality

Role Overview
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in our culinary team at The Chedi Hegra. In this role, you will work in an onsite environment, assisting in preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will support the Chef de Partie in all kitchen operations, ensuring the smooth running of your assigned section.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining the highest quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations in compliance with food hygiene standards.
  • Work closely with team members to support kitchen operations, including stock rotation and ingredient management.
  • Follow and uphold all health, safety, and sanitation procedures as set by the restaurant.
  • Contribute ideas to improve menu offerings and kitchen efficiency.
  • Report any issues with kitchen equipment promptly to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Must have requirements
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certification.
  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have requirements
  • Experience with international cuisines or fine-dining environments.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management.
  • Multilingual skills, especially conversational English and Arabic.
