Daikan Ramen, Al Ain, is searching for an experienced and passionate Head Waiter to oversee our front-of-house operations and ensure exceptional service to our guests. You will play a critical role in leading the waitstaff team while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff, providing guidance and training to maintain a cohesive team environment.
- Service Excellence: Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service throughout the restaurant, directly interacting with guests to address their needs and preferences.
- Order Management: Assist in taking and processing customer orders accurately, ensuring all requests are met in a timely manner.
- Menu Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including special promotions, and provide recommendations to both staff and guests.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Liaise effectively with kitchen personnel to ensure seamless coordination of service and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Training and Development: Assist in training new waitstaff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
- Health and Safety: Uphold health and safety regulations to guarantee a safe and sanitary dining atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Waiter or in a similar supervisory position in a casual dining or high-volume restaurant.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service, with a passion for hospitality.
