Talent Acquisition Specialist - Daikan

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for restaurant roles, including hourly, supervisory, and management positions. This role partners closely with restaurant leadership to attract, hire, and retain high-quality candidates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for restaurant positions (FOH, BOH, management, and support roles)
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Operations leaders to understand staffing needs
  • Source candidates through various job boards, social media and referrals
  • Conduct high-volume screening, interviews, and hiring events
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and hiring decisions efficiently to meet operational demands
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Support onboarding processes, including offer letters, HR orientation and new hire paperwork
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, turnover trends, and hiring effectiveness
  • Promote the employer brand and represent the company at job fairs and community events
 
Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience, preferably within restaurant or hospitality environments
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and workforce challenges
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and online recruiting tools
  • Experience recruiting for multi-unit or high-growth restaurant brands
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse hiring trends
