Role Overview
As a Project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the architectural design, planning, and execution of projects from inception through completion. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an environment that fosters close collaboration between multidisciplinary teams. You will ensure that designs are innovative, functional, and delivered on time while meeting client expectations and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for projects, from conceptualization and schematic design to construction documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment across all project stages.
- Review and verify project drawings, specifications, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project goals and translate them into actionable designs.
- Oversee site inspections and ensure that construction activities adhere to plans and timelines.
- Manage project teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate deliverables between disciplines.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize efficiency and quality.
Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in architectural design and project management, preferably within the Middle East region.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other industry-standard design software.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing completed medium to large-scale projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai building regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Professional architectural license or registration is an advantage.
