The Role
We are at a point in our growth where deal volume is a high priority. Our model works, our portfolio is growing, and the ambition is clear: more acquisitions, more investors, more deals closed. To get there, we are deliberately expanding our commercial team with people who can operate at the front of the business and drive that growth.
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Sales Manager to take full ownership of our commercial activities, across both the acquisition of eCommerce businesses and the sale of our portfolio assets to investors.
This is not a support role. We are looking for someone who operates at the front of the business: sourcing deals, leading conversations, closing transactions, and continuously building the relationships and pipeline that fuel Ecomvest's growth. You will work across both sides of our business model with equal focus in identifying and acquiring high-potential eCommerce brands, and connecting our scaled portfolio stores with the right buyers.
The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, analytically strong, and entrepreneurial by nature. Someone who spots opportunities before being told to, drives deals independently, and thinks not just about the next transaction but about what it means for the business long-term.
Responsibilities
Acquisitions

Source high-potential eCommerce businesses through marketplaces, direct outreach, broker networks, partnerships, and your own commercial instincts

Analyze store financials, business models, niches, revenue, and growth potential to assess acquisition fit

Lead outreach to founders and store owners, initiate conversations, and build relationships that lead to deals

Negotiate valuations and deal structures with sellers

Coordinate due diligence across financial, operational, and commercial dimensions

Manage acquisition pipeline with accuracy and discipline in CRM and project management tools

Prepare clear summary reports and deal materials to support decision-making

Ensure a smooth post-acquisition handover to the operations team

Build and maintain a strong network of brokers, advisors, and marketplace contacts to drive consistent dealflow
Investor Sales

Manage our portfolio of ready-to-sell eCommerce stores and connect them with the right investors and entrepreneurs

Lead sales conversations, presentations, and negotiations end-to-end

Build and maintain an investor pipeline, actively developing new relationships and nurturing existing ones

Support investor relationships after closing, with a focus on long-term engagement and future acquisition opportunities within Ecomvest's portfolio

Prepare deal documentation, proposals, and investor materials independently
Commercial Strategy & Growth

Monitor trends and competitive dynamics in the eCommerce M&A space and translate these into actionable opportunities for Ecomvest

Contribute to the positioning and continued growth of Ecomvest as a brand in the market

Help improve and scale commercial processes and workflows as the business grows

Report on commercial KPIs including pipeline value, deal conversion, and deal velocity

Act as a true commercial sparring partner within the business — someone who thinks strategically, challenges assumptions, and contributes to the direction of the company

Work cross-functionally with all departments at Ecomvest to ensure deals are executed smoothly and commercial insights inform the wider business
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in sales, business development, M&A, or a highly commercial role

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess financials and business models confidently

Excellent communicator — comfortable leading outreach, investor calls, and negotiations independently

Experience with CRM and pipeline management tools

Entrepreneurial attitude and a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Ability to think commercially and strategically, not just execute

Background in eCommerce, investments, finance, or consulting is a strong plus
