This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and production, ensuring that every element—whether an exhibition stand, event structure, or temporary installation—is technically feasible, safe, and ready for flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed technical drawings and fabrication documentation for exhibition stands, event structures, and interior fit-outs.

Interpret design intent from 3D renders or sketches and translate them into accurate 2D and 3D technical files.

Develop layout plans covering electrical, lighting, rigging, and structural elements, ensuring full compliance with venue and safety standards.

Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize material use.

Conduct site measurements and produce as-built drawings when required.

Maintain organized archives for drawings, documentation, and technical revisions.

Coordinate with CNC, carpentry, and fabrication teams to ensure production accuracy and efficient execution.

Support the technical production head in reviewing feasibility and ensuring design integrity across all deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in exhibition detailing, event production, or interior fit-out.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD software (knowledge of 3D Studio Max, Revit, or SolidWorks is an asset).

Strong understanding of materials used in exhibitions, including MDF, metal, acrylic, and aluminum systems.

Excellent ability to interpret and produce construction, joinery, and assembly drawings.

Solid understanding of structural integrity, load-bearing systems, and installation logistics.

Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and commitment to technical precision.

Strong communication and coordination skills within multi-disciplinary project teams.
Preferred Experience

Experience in large-scale exhibitions, trade shows, or corporate events.

Familiarity with fabrication workflows and supplier coordination within the GCC region.

Understanding of venue-specific technical and safety regulations (e.g., Dubai World Trade Centre, Riyadh Front).
