AC Technician - ELECTRA

We are currently seeking an AC Technician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and air conditioning systems in our projects and facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems function efficiently, safely, and in line with company and regulatory standards.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, distribution boards, and AC systems.
  • Execute electrical and wiring plans while ensuring component compatibility.
  • Install AC units, fixtures, and safety devices according to technical requirements.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance for both AC units and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in wiring and air conditioning systems.
  • Perform performance and efficiency tests using specialized tools.
  • Prepare, assemble, and install conduits, ensuring safe electrical connections.
  • Supervise and guide team members at workshops and sites to ensure timely task completion.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards during all operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the workplace, tools, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and recommend system improvements or solutions.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years in AC or electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
  • Certifications:
    • Valid HVAC Technician license (where applicable).
    • Certification or associate degree from a recognized HVAC technical program.
  • Languages: English (required), Hindi (preferred).
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong understanding of occupational safety standards and trade-related procedures.
  • Skilled in using electrical and mechanical hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Responsibilities
  • Correctly operate machinery, tools, and transport provided by the company.
  • Use all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Never remove or disable safety devices on any equipment or installations.
  • Perform all tasks in full compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and risk-free work environment for all.
Additional Information
This role may require frequent travel to project sites across the GCC.
