Role Purpose
Responsible for managing, coordinating, and supervising all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, quality, safety, and project timelines.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Client representatives, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs prior to execution.
• Coordinate preparation, submission, and approval of MEP shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Review material submittals, delivery inspections, laboratory test reports, and compliance certificates.
• Identify and assist in finalization of MEP vendors and service contractors in consultation with the PM & Procurement
• Supervise site execution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire & ELV works are inspected and approved as per approved drawings.
• Ensure coordination is carried out with architectural finishes, ceilings, partitions, and joinery works.
• Prepare, review and submit method statements, ITPs, checklists, and work procedures.
• Implement approved method statements, work procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Ensure compliance with project HSE plan and safe work practices on site.
• Coordinate with Sub-contractor team for manpower, materials, equipment, and look-ahead schedules.
• Prepare and submit related RFIs and coordinate inspections with Main Contractor.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging, and handover activities.
• Support final inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.
• Ensure preparation, verification, and submission of as-built drawings and O&M documents.
Key Interfaces
Project Manager, QA/QC Engineer, Safety Officer, MEP Subcontractors, Architectural Team, Client, Consultant, Authorities.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in interior fit-out / building projects.
• KSA experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems for interior fit-out projects.
• Familiar with local authority and Civil Defense requirements.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site reporting tools.
