Senior Business Development Manager – Fit-Out - ELECTRA

Job Overview
At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.
 
The Senior BD – Fit-Out will drive revenue specifically across Electra’s interiors and fit-out division, promoting our integrated delivery model which includes design development, joinery, fabrication, MEP, scenic works, and full turnkey build solutions. 
This role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to sell fit-out solutions for hospitality, commercial spaces, retail, F&B, luxury environments, and event-related interiors. 
The ideal candidate is a strong hunter with excellent technical understanding, able to work seamlessly with Electra’s Design, Joinery, Production, PMO, QHSE, and Procurement teams. 
 
 
Main Accountabilities
 
Key Responsibilities 
1. Business Development & Revenue Generation 
  • Drive new business across the UAE for interior and fit-out projects aligned with Electra’s production and delivery capabilities. 
  • Actively source, pitch, and close opportunities across commercial fit-outs, retail stores, hospitality upgrades, branded activations, lounges, and luxury environments. 
  • Convert leads across Dubai and the wider GCC into awarded projects with strong margins. 
  • Develop partnerships with architects, consultants, real estate developers, creative agencies, and procurement consultants. 
2. Client Relationship Management 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their technical, design, and commercial requirements. 
  • Manage key accounts while ensuring continued cross-selling opportunities across Electra’s wider portfolio (Events, Exhibitions, Structures, Rental, Carpentry, Scenic). 
  • Provide excellent follow-up and client servicing to maintain long-term relationships and repeat business. 
3. Technical & Commercial Coordination 
  • Work closely with Design, Estimation, Joinery, and PM teams to prepare technical proposals, BOQs, layouts, and method statements. 
  • Interpret drawings, materials, finishes, and build details—ensuring all solutions align with Electra’s manufacturing strengths. 
  • Challenge costs and optimize value engineering solutions in collaboration with Estimation & Production. 
  • Lead client meetings, site surveys, and tender clarifications. 
4. Internal Collaboration & Project Handover 
  • Ensure all awarded projects are clearly briefed to the PMO/Delivery teams with accurate documentation. 
  • Support internal teams during pre-production and ensure client expectations are fully aligned with scope. 
  • Maintain internal communication to anticipate risks early and provide proactive updates. 
5. Reporting, Forecasting & CRM 
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline within CRM (HubSpot / internal system). 
  • Provide weekly reporting on leads, revenue forecast, probability changes, and proposals submitted. 
  • Adhere strictly to Electra’s sales governance, SOPs, and approval processes. 
 
Qualifications & Experience 
  • Minimum 6–10 years BD experience in interior fit-out, D&B, joinery, scenic or commercial contracting. 
  • Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, build sequences, and site coordination. 
  • Proven UAE market connections, especially with architects and consultants. 
  • Excellent pitch, negotiation, and client-facing skills. 
  • Ability to work under tight timelines with a solutions-driven approach.

General Obligations Towards Health, Safety and Environment   
  • You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.  
  • You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.  
  • You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.  
  • You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
