Senior Estimator / QS KSA - ELECTRA

We are currently looking for a results-driven Senior Estimator with a minimum of 5–6 years of experience and a solid background in luxury events, exhibitions, and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong commercial acumen. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, working closely with the Sales and Design teams, and developing professional proposals under the guidance of the COO or Estimation Manager. 
 
This role plays a key part in supporting the Client Services team to win projects by delivering well-crafted, competitive quotations. 
 
  • Main Accountabilities:
     
    Quantity Surveyor / Estimation:
     
    • Having a vast knowledge in the different materials used in events & fitouts and able to assess, understand, and review the use of different materials in fabrication, cost differences with each and the impact on final product. 
      Excellent understanding of the Saudi market, including local pricing and supplier networks. 
      Develop well-structured, timely cost estimates and tender submissions. 
      Assess, understand, and review visuals / drawings from Client Services / Design teams.
      Preparing a detailed BOQ based on drawings / information when one is not provided by Client Services team, mentioning all assumptions and exclusions. 
      Measuring the quantities and grouping the elements as per type. 
      Conducting detailed cost analysis, monitoring cost variations post job, budgeted vs actual, adjust price point accordingly. 
      Liaise with CS team, Supplier, sub-contractor, Project Management and Fabrication teams to establish cost effective solutions to meet client budget. 
      Ensure Electra's costing templates and protocols are consistently used and updated. 
      Maintain an organised library of pricing data and tender documentation requirements. 
      Strong attention to detail, analytical & organisation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. 
      Mentor new recruits to establish consistency in costing protocol. 
      ERP (Nav) maintenance of overall database, creating brand new pricing codes working closely with both IT and Finance departments. 

    • Requirements
      Number of years of Experience: 5-7 years in Fit Out/ Joinery/Interiors/Events/Exhibition 
      Education: Engineering Degree  
      Systems: Microsoft, AutoCAD, SketchUp (added advantage)
      Self motivated. 
      Attention to detail and analytic thinking. 
      Performs duties as workload necessitates. 
      Maintain a positive and respectful attitude. 
      Good communication skills. 
      Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload. 
      Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position. 
      Have excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with others 
      Meets department productivity standards.
 
  • General Obligations towards Health and Safety Environment :
      • You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.  
      • You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.  
      • You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.  
      • You will perform all tasks set forth by safety regulations and cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and conditions that do not pose any risks in terms of health and safety.  
      • Reduce and monitor resource consumption as contribution to reduce environmental aspects and impacts.
