Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and performance-oriented Content Creator to develop engaging, high-conversion content for Salonist. This role focuses on educating salon owners, enhancing product visibility, and driving qualified lead generation through strategic content initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation
  • Produce high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) covering:
    • Salon growth strategies
    • Product demonstrations
    • Business transformation stories
  • Design visually compelling static creatives including ads, carousels, and infographics
2. Product Marketing Content
  • Develop content highlighting key product features, including:
    • Appointment booking systems
    • CRM and automation workflows
    • Customer success stories and case studies
  • Translate complex SaaS functionalities into simple, engaging, and relatable content
3. Social Media Management
  • Plan and manage content calendars across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Optimize content for maximum engagement, reach, and platform performance
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in the beauty and SaaS industries
4. Performance Marketing Content
  • Create high-performing ad creatives for Meta and Google campaigns
  • Conduct A/B testing on hooks, scripts, and thumbnails to improve results
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation and campaign objectives
5. Copywriting
  • Develop compelling and conversion-focused:
    • Captions
    • Hooks
    • Ad copy
    • Email campaigns
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with brand voice and performance goals
Content Formats
  • “How to Grow Your Salon” educational videos
  • “Day in the Life” of salon owners
  • Product tutorials and walkthroughs
  • Relatable/meme-based content
  • Testimonials and user-generated content (UGC)

Requirements
Must-Have
  • 2–5 years of experience in content creation or social media marketing
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Instagram Reels and TikTok algorithms
    • SaaS or service-based marketing models
  • Proficiency in basic video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro)
