Cleaner Job Description
 
To be successful as a cleaner, you should be able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated time. 
Ultimately, a top-performing cleaner should be physically fit and able to perform with minimal 
supervision.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning for homes and offices on an hourly basis duties, including 
    sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
  • Dusting countertops, and loose furniture.
  • Clean and sanitize living rooms, bedrooms, and other areas of the home.
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
  • Emptying trash cans.
  • Changing bed sheets, washing, ironing, and folding laundry
  • Cleaning Balcony areas.
  • Handle cleaning equipment and supplies with care and ensure they are maintained in good 
    working condition.
  • Follow company protocols and use approved cleaning products and methods.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and 
    preferences.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Liaising with management to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times
  • Reporting any issues that occur during the cleaning process.
Work Hours & Benefits:
  • You will be assigned 3-4 cleaning jobs per day between 8 am-8 pm (There is a gap of 1 hour after 
    each duty).
  • Each cleaning job will be 2-4 hours in duration (or more based on the client's request)
  • You will be allocated 1 day off per week.
  • You will be expected to work overtime or on public holidays from time to time as per business 
    requirements.
  • Shared accommodation will be provided for you.
  • Higher earning potential through tips and monthly bonus schemes.
Required Skills
  • Previous cleaning experience of 6 months to 1 year is a requirement.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Conversational level of English is mandatory (read, speak, and write)
  •  Highly responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills to Keeping cleaning supplies and tools organized.
  • Knowledge of Safety Procedures.
  • Pet friendly.
  • Able to travel in vans from one client’s place to another.
  • Able to handle and use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to use basic applications i.e. Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
The Cleaner/Housekeeper is responsible for the daily upkeep of the villa, apartment or office 
areas, and vacated homes, and performs a range of duties including but not limited to 
cleaning/sanitizing, (dusting, sweeping/mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.); 
performing and documenting additional cleaning activities (ironing, wardrobe organizing, fridge 
cleaning, etc.); and carrying out general cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.
The Cleaner/Housekeeper is responsible for conducting all job duties in accordance with 
company policy and all safety protocols, and supports the overall objective of meeting the 
expectations of the Client, based on the respective operating procedures and 
management agreement.
