James L. Williams Middle East (JLW) is seeking Mechanical Site Engineers to join our project teams in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the engineering office for the preparation and review of shop drawings, RFIs, authority submissions, and technical submittals.
- Manage material take-offs, track procurement progress, and ensure timely delivery of materials to site.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for design verification, inspections, and approvals.
- Support QA/QC processes, oversee redline mark-ups, and ensure timely submission of as-built drawings.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and work schedules for subcontractors.
- Provide technical guidance to supervisors and foremen, ensuring works are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Enforce company HSE and QMS policies to ensure safe and compliant site operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant site experience in MEP works.
- Strong technical understanding of construction drawings, site coordination, and material management.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
