Electrical Construction Manager - KSA - James L Williams

James L Williams Middle East is looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our Projects team and lead the site execution of complex Data Center projects.
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations in line with project specifications, international standards, and strict time and budget requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise electrical construction activities on Data Center projects.
  • Manage manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and site logistics to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure execution in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor site progress, productivity, quality, and resource utilization, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved in line with approved construction programs and look-ahead schedules.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings, technical reviews, and 3D/BIM model reviews where required.
  • Manage site teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, procurement requirements, and site resources to support construction activities.
  • Support commercial activities including claims, variations, progress payments, cost control, and subcontract management.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with local authority requirements, project specifications, and international standards.
  • Work closely with Planning, QA/QC, Procurement, and Engineering teams to drive successful project delivery.
  • Deputize for the Project Manager when required and provide leadership across all electrical construction activities.
 
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10–15 years of overall construction experience.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager on Data Center projects (mandatory).
  • Strong site execution background in Electrical and MEP works.
  • Extensive experience managing subcontractors, construction teams, and site operations on large-scale projects.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems installation, testing, commissioning, and construction methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of local and international regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of claims, variations, and EOT processes.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
