James L Williams Middle East is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project QA/QC Manager to join our Projects team and lead quality assurance and quality control activities on major projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project quality management systems while ensuring compliance with client requirements, international standards, and company procedures throughout all phases of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Project Quality Management Systems and Quality Assurance Programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of planning, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, company procedures, and international quality standards.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews across projects and departments to ensure effective implementation of quality processes.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, trends, audit findings, and performance updates to senior management.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project teams on all quality-related matters.
- Ensure lessons learned from previous projects are effectively implemented and integrated into ongoing project activities.
- Monitor constructability, maintainability, and value engineering initiatives throughout project execution.
- Lead and mentor QA/QC personnel, ensuring consistency in quality standards and project delivery.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and review Project Quality Plans, procedures, workflows, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
- Support successful project handover by ensuring all quality documentation, testing records, and commissioning documentation are completed and approved.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related MEP Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the building services, MEP, or construction industry.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager on large-scale MEP, Mission Critical, Data Centre, Commercial, or Infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and quality assurance methodologies.
- Extensive experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and project quality management.
- Experience managing audits, inspections, NCRs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong understanding of international standards, project specifications, and client quality requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and drive a culture of quality excellence across projects.
