Senior Storekeeper - James L Williams

James L Williams Middle East (JLW) is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Storekeeper to join our Stores team and support our growing Data Centre projects across the region. This role is ideal for professionals with strong inventory management, material control, and site store operations experience within the construction / MEP industry.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Orders in coordination with project and QA/QC teams.
  • Prepare Material Receipt Vouchers and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Ensure materials are stored, handled, and preserved in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and project requirements.
  • Issue materials to site teams based on approved Store Issue Vouchers and maintain accurate location tracking of all issued materials.
  • Monitor and maintain project inventory, stock levels, and material movement records to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Prepare material status reports, including materials received, issued, balance stock, and pending deliveries.
  • Manage site-to-site material transfers and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Maintain records for tools, equipment, lifting accessories, calibration certificates, and fixed assets.
  • Ensure non-conforming or damaged materials are properly segregated and returned to suppliers when required.
  • Support project teams with material reconciliation, stock verification, and inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, QA/QC, and Project Teams to ensure efficient material flow and project support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper within the MEP, construction, or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and material handling procedures.
  • Experience managing construction materials, tools, and equipment records.
  • Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Good understanding of workplace safety practices and material storage requirements
  • Willingness to work in both UAE & KSA as per company requirements
