James L Williams Middle East is seeking a highly experienced Technical Director – Electrical to lead and drive our engineering division at a strategic level.
This is a senior leadership role within the Engineering Design division, responsible for leading and overseeing the Electrical Design Team across complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct all engineering and technical operations across projects
- Oversee complex, multi-discipline design and construction projects
- Ensure compliance with international standards and UAE local authority requirements
- Manage engineering budgets and support procurement and project execution strategies
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and major equipment selections
- Represent the company in client and authority meetings
- Mentor and develop engineering teams while driving technical excellence
- Support business development initiatives with strong commercial awareness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in MEP/building services engineering
- Proven leadership experience in complex engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of international codes and UAE authority regulations
- Commercially driven with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
