QA/QC Engineer. - Mangaza

Role Overview
As a QA/QC Engineer at our Ras Al Khaimah project site, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance and quality control in a fully ONSITE environment. You will play a pivotal role in site surveillance, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams, and ensuring all inspection and deliverable processes meet regulatory and project expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily site surveillance to monitor compliance with project quality standards.
  • Coordinate and support all subcontractors to ensure their activities meet quality requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection schedules for all works and material inspections.
  • Ensure all work inspections are performed and documented as per project protocols.
  • Conduct material inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the execution team to resolve site quality issues.
  • Implement and conduct internal inspections to verify adherence to project quality plans.
  • Coordinate with the Firestop Engineer regarding all fireproofing inspections and approvals.
  • Review weekly and monthly deliverable status, comparing actuals vs. the planned schedule.
  • Report regularly to the QA QC Manager on project quality status.
  • Coordinate and conduct snagging activities ahead of handover phases.
Must have requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction environment, with a strong QA/QC focus.
  • Proven ability in preparing and executing inspection schedules.
  • Hands-on experience with site and material inspections, reporting, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
Nice to have requirements
  • Relevant quality management certifications (e.g. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
  • Experience in fire protection systems and firestop inspections.
  • Familiarity with digital QA/QC and inspection management tools.
  • Prior experience in the UAE or Middle East construction sector.
