You are responsible for carrying out all land surveying activities required for the accurate setting out, measurement, and verification of construction works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards. You should have minimum experience of 8 years with the main contractor. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Land Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
Surveying & Setting Out
• Perform land surveys, site measurements, and setting out activities in accordance with approved construction drawings.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference lines throughout the project.
• Verify dimensions, levels, alignments, and locations before and during construction activities.
• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate survey records.
Technical Support & Coordination
• Interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and survey data to support construction activities.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate site positioning and layout.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and promptly report them to project management.
Quality Control & Verification
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Verify completed works for dimensional accuracy and compliance before inspections.
• Assist QA/QC personnel by providing accurate survey data and measurement records.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate survey records, field notes, calculations, and measurement reports.
• Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings, and coordinate data for project documentation.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance records of surveying equipment.
Safety & Compliance
• Perform surveying activities in accordance with Company HSE policies and UAE safety regulations.
• Ensure safe handling and operation of surveying instruments and equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings, site inspections, and risk assessments when required.
Communication & Collaboration
• Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure survey requirements are met.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide survey-related updates and technical support.
