Role Overview
As a Personal Trainer - Freelancer with MyPT, you will join our dynamic team based in MyPT Head Office. You'll work in a REMOTE environment, leveraging your skills to empower clients to achieve their fitness goals. While administrative collaboration is done remotely, you must be able to commute independently to each client's chosen location for tailored, in-person training sessions. Your expertise, professionalism, and commitment to client results will be key contributors to our mission of delivering exceptional personal training experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one and group personal training sessions at clients' locations.
- Create individualized fitness programs based on client assessments and goals.
- Monitor client progress and adapt programs accordingly.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide ongoing motivation.
- Educate clients on safe exercise techniques, proper nutrition, and wellness practices.
- Communicate effectively with the head office team to coordinate scheduling and client feedback.
Must have requirements
- Current Level 3 Personal Trainer certification.
- REP's (Register of Exercise Professionals) registration.
- Must have driving license and ability to commute independently to clients' locations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering personal training in client environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have requirements
- Experience working as a freelancer or self-employed trainer.
- First Aid or CPR certification.
- Knowledge of specialist training modalities (e.g., pre/post-natal, injury rehabilitation, sports performance).
- Digital fitness coaching experience or remote program delivery skills.
