MEP Engineer - OAKTREE

Role Overview
As part of our team in Riyadh, you'll work in a HYBRID environment supporting the delivery of cutting-edge construction projects. You will contribute as a trusted MEP Engineer, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to design, review, and oversee the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and review detailed MEP designs, technical drawings, and documentation for complex projects.
  • Coordinate MEP works between consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression.
  • Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to design and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with local codes and client requirements.
  • Support project estimation, procurement, and cost-control activities as they relate to MEP systems.
  • Prepare progress reports, conduct site inspections, and participate in project meetings to provide expert input.
Must have requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP standards, codes, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Nice to have requirements
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or equivalent.
  • Experience with BIM modeling and MEP coordination tools.
  • Arabic language proficiency.
  • Background working on large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments.
