To comply with our values the Business Development Manager must be able to:
Professionally represent Oryx Door Systems LLC in front of prospective and existing customers, including residential, commercial, fit-out companies, architects, or any other body that may have the potential to become a customer at any point.
Actively seek new revenue streams.
Produce clear and concise diary plans to demonstrate effective time management, including adherence and input to the CRM system, calls, follow-ups, internal customer communication and tasks.
Produce exceptional documents, emails and messaging, ensuring that it is clear and concise and sets expectations and impacts. Take ownership of all communication done by others in your name, checking for quality before sending it to an external customer. Never overpromise on timescales and costs.
Plan, create and deliver presentations.
Communicate openly and honestly with internal customers ensuring that all teams are working for the Greater Good of the customer and Oryx.
Manage the workload and be open with customers about timescales and impact.
Keep updated on global and local trends, new products and best practices that Oryx could seek to provide to the market. Be familiar with social media and its importance in today’s business world.
Develop and achieve personal and company sales targets and follow the Oryx Way of Selling.
Actively participate and be proactive about BBI.
Be an advocate of excellence.
