Support Executive (Logistics) - Pedigri Technologies

Job Purpose
 
Works in warehousing and transportation of goods. Processes orders and oversees cycle of order fulfilment. Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
 
Role and Responsibilities
 
Warehouse Management
  • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
  • Processes orders and oversees cycle of order fulfilment.
  • Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
  • Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
  • Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
  • Receives products and coordinates delivery.
  • Prepares loads for shipment.
  • Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.
  • Goods-in of all received goods in the system.
  • Countercheck invoices submitted by the freight forwarder.
  • Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on time delivery.
  • Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
 
Material Handler Duties
  • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by picking and verifying materials and vendor orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centres by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Perform and report cycle counts.
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain / logistics or a relevant field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in handling logistics related responsibilities
  • Experience in logistics and freight forwarding specially in MEA Region.
  • Experience in logistics related documentation such as clearance documents and air freight handling and shipment (Import & Export)
  • Familiarity with Dubai Trade Portal
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
 
Skills and abilities
  • Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills, and a strong customer focus with outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Candidates must have knowledge of the local logistics and experience working with freight forwarders and customs.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
 
NOTE: Fluency in French and/or Arabic is an advantage.
