Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with strong experience in API integrations and airline integrations to join our growing Product Team.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between business, airline partners, and engineering - owning the delivery of scalable, API-driven products that power airline distribution and retailing.

You should bring a strong technical mindset, hands-on experience with APIs, and deep understanding of airline systems (especially NDC and distribution flows).

Key responsibilities

Own and drive product initiatives focused on API integrations and airline connectivity (NDC, GDS, aggregators).
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and deliver scalable, high-performance API solutions.
Define and manage end-to-end integration requirements with airline partners and third-party systems.
Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Lead product discovery and feasibility analysis for new API-driven features and integrations.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog with a strong focus on delivery impact and time-to-market.
Work with stakeholders (airlines, partners, internal teams) to ensure successful integration delivery and adoption.
Ensure product features meet both functional and technical acceptance criteria, including performance and reliability.
Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, and usage metrics.
Support troubleshooting of integration issues and collaborate on resolving complex technical problems.
Contribute to product strategy and roadmap, especially in the area of airline retailing and distribution APIs.
Drive Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional squads.

Skills and competencies

5+ years of experience as a API Designer/ API Integration Specialist, Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in travel / airline tech.
Strong hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, JSON/XML) and API lifecycles (design, testing, versioning, monitoring)
Experience with Postman or similar tools.
Proven experience working with airline systems and integrations (NDC, GDS, booking, pricing, servicing flows)
Solid technical understanding of microservices and cloud-based architectures.
Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical constraints and trade-offs.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data-driven decision making.
Excellent communication skills - ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders.
Experience managing multiple integrations and stakeholders simultaneously.

Nice to Have

Experience working with IATA standards (NDC, One Order, ARM)
Familiarity with AWS / cloud environments
Understanding of airline retailing transformation
Background in SaaS platforms and B2B integrations
