Role Overview

As a Bag Restoration Technician, you will play a vital part in preserving and rejuvenating premium bags for our clientele. As part of our team in Dubai - Jebel Ali, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, ensuring high-quality restoration including color corrections and material care, while upholding our standards of excellence and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Perform professional bag restoration and repair services, including structural fixes, hardware replacement, and material treatment.
Execute precise color restoration and touch-ups on a wide range of bag types and materials.
Assess each item’s condition and recommend tailored restoration solutions to clients or the restoration team.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restoration workspace and tools.
Utilize specialized techniques and materials to ensure high-quality and long-lasting results.
Document restoration procedures and outcomes for quality control and client records.
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
Keep up-to-date with industry innovations in restoration processes and products.

Must have requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in bag restoration, specifically working with luxury or designer bags.
Proven expertise in color restoration and color matching techniques for various bag materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship.
Ability to work efficiently in an onsite, team-based setting.
Familiarity with various bag materials including leather, fabric, suede, and exotic skins.

Nice to have requirements

Certification or formal training in leather goods restoration or similar fields.
Experience with other luxury item restoration, such as shoes or accessories.
Background in art, color theory, or materials science.
Knowledge of restoration tools and advanced chemical treatments.
Excellent communication skills with both clients and internal teams.
