Role Purpose
 
The Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the day to day operations of a Wolfi’s store. This includes delivering an exceptional customer experience, maximizing sales and profitability, developing the in store team, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met. As a key leader on the ground, the Store Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing the Wolfi’s brand to life, building community connections, and inspiring a high performance, customer-first culture.
 
Responsibilities
 
Sales & Customer Experience
  • Lead the store team to consistently exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and expert guidance.
  • Promote a strong customer focused culture through coaching and recognition.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Resolve customer queries and concerns efficiently by investigating issues and implementing effective solutions.   
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, train, and lead a passionate and knowledgeable retail team.
  • Conduct regular one on one check ins, performance reviews, and team meetings.
  • Develop succession plans and identify growth opportunities for team members.
  • Lead by example, championing Wolfi’s values and setting a high standard of professionalism.
 
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy, and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment at all times.
  • Track product demand and maintain awareness of sales trends and inventory requirements.
  • Manage schedules, rosters, and timekeeping to optimize coverage and performance.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit sales and performance reports to management.
Community Engagement & Brand Presence
  • Represent Wolfi’s in the local cycling and triathlon community.
  •  Support store led events and activations to increase customer engagement.
  • Promote a welcoming, inclusive space for all levels of cyclists and athletes.
 
Requirements
  • 4–6 years of experience in retail, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  •  Proven ability to drive sales and lead high performing teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory, and visual standards.
  • Interest in cycling, triathlon, fitness and understanding of premium cycling products.
  • Proficient in POS systems, retail software, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Lead an active lifestyle.
