Role Purpose

The Senior Sales Specialist is a trusted expert and sales leader on the retail floor. With deep product knowledge and a strong ability to connect with customers, you’ll play a key role in achieving sales targets, mentoring junior team members, and driving an exceptional customer journey. You will also act as a product and brand ambassador, contributing to the high-performance culture of Wolfi’s and ensuring customers walk away with the perfect product and experience for their cycling journey.
 
Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Customer Excellence
  • Deliver exceptional, consultative customer service with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Drive and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive selling and upselling.
  • Lead by example on the floor, setting the tone for customer service and performance.
  • Resolve customer queries and concerns efficiently by investigating issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Develop relationships with high-value and repeat customers, supporting retention and loyalty. 
  • Conduct customer follow-ups and customer experience calls to build relationships and expand sales opportunities.
Product Expertise & Advisory
  • Serve as a go-to expert for complex product questions and premium product categories.
  • Provide support in fitting, configuration, and technical product knowledge (bikes, gear, accessories).
  • Stay up to date on all product launches, technologies, and innovations in cycling. 
  • Monitor and track sales order delivery timelines, ensuring transparent and consistent communications with customers. 
 
Team Support
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Step into floor leadership when needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit detailed sales reports to management.
Store Standards & Visual Merchandising
  • Maintain excellent product presentation and stock accuracy.
  • Provide input on merchandising, product placement, and customer flow optimisation.
  • Monitor floor activity to ensure all customers receive timely support.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in a retail sales role, ideally within sports or cycling-related industries.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong product knowledge or interest in bicycles, components, accessories, and apparel.
  •  Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; other languages a plus.
