Role Overview
Join our leading engineering consultancy as a Resident Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing infrastructure projects from inception to completion. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, managing daily operations and ensuring project excellence in one of the most dynamic markets in the region.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, provide progress reports, and address onsite challenges promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Provide technical direction and solutions to resolve engineering issues during construction.
- Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all project milestones within allocated budgets.
Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Resident Engineer on major infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and site supervision.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office Suite.
- Experience working within the UAE or Gulf region is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
